have another life insurance policy from another company. Can I cancel
it and keep this policy? |

We
rarely recommend that you replace existing insurance coverage with
new insurance. Before you make a decision to do so you should contact
your current insurance company. You should also consider your age
and any changes in your health when evaluating a replacement policy. |

I
already have life insurance through BCPS. How is this different? |

BCPS
cares about you and your family and already pays the premium for basic
term life insurance coverage for all part-time and full-time employees.
BCPS also offers Optional Life Insurance, however the rates for the
coverage will continue to increase as you grow older.
VOYA offers Voluntary
Premier Whole Life Insurance to all eligible BCPS employees at
affordable rates. The premiums are based on the death benefit
selected, the optional riders you chose, your tobacco status, and your
age when the policy was issued. Your premiums will never increase due
to your age. |

*The death benefit will be reduced by the amount of any outstanding loan and unpaid accrued interest.
