As Chairman, Mr. Warner provides corporate leadership to the organization for company expansion, strategic alliance relationship development, contractual negotiations, and financial controls. Mr. Warner has specialized in comprehensive financial consulting for affluent individuals, public and privately held companies since 1977, with a specific focus on creative estate tax planning, executive benefit and compensation design.
Mr. Warner serves as Chairman of The Carson Scholars Fund and formerly served as Chairman of AmericasBANK. He is a former President and current member of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council. Mr. Warner is a member of NAIFA (formerly the National Association of Life Underwriters), and Finesca (formerly the Association for Advanced Life Underwriters).
Mr. Warner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics from Western Maryland College, and has earned professional designations as an Accredited Estate Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter®, Chartered Financial Consultant®, and Certified Financial Planner®. Rick Spivey has over 42 years of experience in the financial services industry, and specializes in comprehensive wealth strategies, personal financial planning, and wealth transfer services. As President and Chief Marketing Officer at The Warner Companies, Mr. Spivey brings a strategic and in-depth approach to each client he serves, enabling him to provide best-in-class support to each clients’ financial situation.
Whether advising clients on sophisticated life insurance transactions, or investment strategies, Mr. Spivey becomes genuinely involved with his clients’ financial situations to provide them with exceptional advice that affect their lives and their inheritors for generations to come. As a distinguished authority in life insurance, Mr. Spivey has provided services to business owners, corporate executives, professional athletes, banks, and publicly traded companies. In addition, he has served on the Board of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council, is a Registered Representative with M Holdings Securities, Inc., and holds the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant® and Chartered Life Underwriter® from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Outside of work, Mr. Spivey maintains an active lifestyle. He enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, he is a member of Caves Valley Golf Club, and is actively involved in his church and philanthropic activities.
As Chief Investment Officer for The Warner Companies, Mr. Killinger oversees the investment and planning functions for the Private Client Division and Deferred Compensation planning for the Executive Benefits Division. This includes management of the investment research team and development of strategies and products that are recommended to the firm’s clients. He also provides strategic direction, evaluates new growth opportunities and assesses new business ventures for the firm.
He serves as Chief Compliance Officer for the firm’s Registered Investment Advisor entity and OSJ Branch Manager for broker/dealer operations. Prior to joining The Warner Companies in 1994, Mr. Killinger was with T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland.
Mr. Killinger holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a Certificate in Finance from University of Maryland, where he graduated cum laude, and an MBA and M.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation in 1998 and is a member of the Baltimore CFA Society (formerly the Baltimore Security Analysts Society) and CFA Institute (formerly the Association for Investment Management & Research). He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and earned his Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) designation in 2011. He is a registered representative with a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member holding the Series 6, 7, 24, and 66 securities registrations. Additionally he is an Enrolled Agent, licensed to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. Tax returns for clients are prepared through an independent entity, TaxServe, LLC.
Mr. Killinger serves as an advisor to the Finance Committee of the Carson Scholars Fund. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Barnett-Searing National Cancer Foundation, where he is Chairman of the Investment Committee. He is a member of the Board of Trustees and the Investment Committee for Trinity School of Maryland. In 2015, Mr. Killinger was a member of the Howard County Community Advisory Board for the Y of Central Maryland.

As Executive Vice President, Ms. Salcman is responsible for developing collaborative relationships with other professionals in the wealth strategies arena, as well as recruiting additional personnel for the company. She brings a highly unique perspective to counseling affluent clients and successful companies since she was first introduced to The Warner Companies from the perspective of a client.
Prior to joining The Warner Companies, Ms. Salcman served as Executive Vice President of one of the largest Health Systems on the East Coast, where she was a proven business leader with various types of health care organizations. She has extensive experience in strategic planning, development and marketing.
Her accomplishments as an executive in the health care field are broad. She implemented and managed executive compensation and benefit plans, and has been honored by the Academy of Health Care Marketing and received awards for several marketing campaigns.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts, Ms. Salcman received her MBA/MPH from Columbia University, New York, New York. She is a Registered Representative with a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member firm, and holds health and life insurance licenses.
In 2011, she was the Chairman of The Board Development Committee of the Fund for Educational Excellence, having served as Chair of that Board in the past. In 2017, she was a Board Member of the United Cerebral Palsy Board, member of their Finance and Audit Committee, and their Investment Committee. She is currently a member of the Accessions Committee at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
